Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Spectacle Vivant and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Book and Reading are co-organizing a workshop dedicated to project leaders and community agents to discover “sensitive cartography”, a tool for analyzing practices prior to construction of a territory project.

This sensitive mapping workshop will be an opportunity to discover a tool and a methodology prior to the construction of a territory project. The cartographic tool allows, through the design of projects or concrete work situations, to identify possible solutions to the problems expressed.
Participants: project leaders, community officials in charge of cultural development (in public reading, live performance or more transversal fields), elected officials of communities.
Programme
1st step: produce the map
The workshop begins by making a drawing of the project of your structure on its territory, including the recipients, partners, its geographical position, as well as any other element that plays an important role in your territory or in your project.
Through this drawing, everyone produces their own vision of the territory and identifies issues specific to their project. They can be linked to the issues around the participation of inhabitants and cultural actors, around the implementation of the project or of a cultural policy, public reading, EAC …
This exercise also allows you to think about what seems important to understand the challenges of the territory, your project or your mission.
2nd step: identify collective issues
On the basis of the maps displayed, the participants will discuss the common issues that have emerged through the presentation of each project.
3rd step: formulate hypotheses by project
The workshop continues with a shared evaluation of the projects, through the eyes of the other participants on the cartography produced by each. The peers kindly formulate hypotheses with regard to the drawing, the oral presentation and the problematic formulated. The project leader, whose map is studied, comes back to the hypotheses he / she heard, which make sense, and which echo his work.

Workshop co-organized by Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Spectacle Vivant and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Book and Reading within the framework of “Fabriques des Territoires”.
The Fabriques des Territoires are collective, participatory and thematic meetings that bring together professionals from the same profession to discuss their professional practices and the difficulties encountered in the field. They thus make it possible to exchange views with peers, to question oneself about one’s profession and to break one’s professional isolation.
