Evaluating the exhibitions and works of artists that were on view from January 1 to June 30, the new “Purvītis Awards 2023” expert working group, which will be presented in June 2023, has nominated Melnikov for the exhibition “The Anticipation” or “The Anticipation”. The third “Purvītis Prize” was won by Andris Eglītis in February 2013 for the solo exhibition “Earthworks”, the fourth “Purvītis Prize” in 2015 was presented to Miķelis. Amanda Ziemele received the seventh “Purvītis Award” in June 2021 for the exhibition “Quantum Hair Implants”.
