Working student (m / f / d) in marketing | NEW WORK SE

XING is the leading social network in German-speaking countries for everything to do with work and careers. More than 1,500 employees give everything every day to accompany our 16 million members on their way to a better working world: For a better working life.

New Work Young Professionals: With its brands, services and products, New Work SE is committed to a working environment in which people can realize themselves and develop their potential. With the renaming from XING SE to New Work SE in 2019, the company now also carries its commitment in its name. It is headquartered in Hamburg and employs a total of around 1,600 people in other locations – from Munich to Vienna to Porto. The SE brings together its young talents in New Work Young Professionals GmbH in order to train them further and to recruit future employees.

The New Work Young Professionals GmbH in Hamburg offers you an exciting challenge.

Our team takes care of the central provision of the marketing infrastructure and processes for over 60 colleagues with the aim of successfully marketing our products. In addition, we are working on projects to continuously improve the experience of our customers on XING and thus help shape the network of tomorrow for over 18 million members.

Do you feel at home in marketing and would you like to expand your knowledge of onsite, e-mail and mobile marketing? We should get to know each other! We are now looking for a working student (m / f / d) to support our team. Regardless of whether it is a meeting or an overarching project, you are an integral part of our team and work with us as equals. Together with us, pursue the goal of continuously improving working life. True to our vision “for a better working life”, we create campaigns that address new and existing users at the right time and arouse their curiosity.

A task that challenges:

  • You support us operationally in the implementation and optimization of e-mail, app and on-site campaigns.
  • You will discover potential for campaign automation approaches and help develop ideas for one-time campaigns.
  • You help us analyze data and create meaningful reports from which we derive recommendations for action and optimization measures.
  • The briefing and the creation of advertising material are also part of your tasks.
  • You will create presentations (in German and English) and help with our internal documentation.

A background that convinces:

  • You are studying for a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a marketing, media, communication or comparable degree and can support us for at least 20 hours per week.
  • You are interested in a collaboration of at least 12 months.
  • Your strengths include initiative, a quick grasp, a flair for numbers, an eye for detail, reliability and an independent way of working.
  • You have already gained initial practical experience with regard to the tasks described.
  • You speak excellent German and can communicate in English.
  • If you are also interested in online business models, social networks and new trends and technologies in Web 2.0, you’ve come to the right place!

What you can expect:

You work in the heart of Hamburg. We offer you an innovative work environment, flexible working hours and a wide range of design options.

The Young Professionals Community offers you many formats for your personal development and relaxed exchange with colleagues from all areas. And yes, we also have organic fruit for everyone. And right, foosball tables. And drinks. And restaurant tickets and the ProfiTicket. And …

Do you have any questions?
