Working life, Lillehammer | Henrik moved up and is responsible for 70 employees

34-year-old Henrik Stokkebek formally took up the position of general manager of the construction company ØMF Evensen & Evensen in Lillehammer at New Year’s. Stokkebek has a background as a carpenter and is a trained civil engineer.

He is now general manager of 70 employees at Lillehammer.

– I greatly appreciate the opportunity and support I have received both within the company and in the group. I’ve probably subconsciously had a goal to take the next step, but a little further in the future, says Stokkebek.

Became a little hammering

He is now two weeks into his new job.

– So far it has been exciting and rewarding, and I think it will be in the future as well. It seems that the other employees also believe it.

He originally comes from Fet in Lillestrøm, but moved to Lillehammer four years ago with his wife Åsne and their two children.

– I want to take care of the good foundation that has been created through 102 years of continuous operation. Evensen & Evensen is known for being a local player that delivers quality, and is perceived as a reliable and sober partner, says Stokkebek.

– Young and ambitious

Managing Director of ØM. Fjeld, Kjell Bjarte Kvinge is satisfied with the appointment.

– With Henrik, we have put in place a young and ambitious leader who has also managed to gain a versatile background, including valuable experience from the builder’s side. In recent years, he has been employed as a project manager at ØMF Evensen & Evensen, and thus he has also gained a good understanding of our culture and values. We feel completely confident that Henrik will lead the company with respect for history and at the same time be sufficiently impatient to further develop and strengthen the company’s position in the region, says Kvinge.

The company currently has a turnover of around NOK 400 million and is under Ø M Fjeld AS.
