The United States Department of Labor has launched an investigation into Apple following accusations by Ashley Gjøvik, an employee who publicly complained about her working conditions. His accusations relate in particular to harassment, sexism and an unhealthy environment.
Laid off in September, the former employee received a letter on December 10 informing her that the investigation was formalized. Gjøvik aired his accusations publicly on his Twitter account and believes she was fired in retaliation for her revelations. Recently, several other people who had a bad experience at Apple decided to create the #AppleToo movement in order to highlight their testimonials.

Apple told Financial Times that she was ” deeply committed to creating and maintaining a positive and inclusive workplace “And take” all concerns seriously “. La Pomme also recalled opening an internal investigation each time a similar complaint was filed. The Department of Labor did not give more details on the investigation, but it should help to get the word out.
