Mahmoud certainly knows why he is still satisfied with De Lijn after three years. “I certainly don’t regret starting here, rather regret not doing it sooner,” he laughs. Now he drives the bus through the center of Ghent, before he worked in a pizza shop and a clothing store. “But here everything is arranged down to the last detail in terms of overtime, remuneration and holidays.”
