The workers of the bicycle delivery platforms did not make any deliveries this Saturday, March 20 between noon and 2 p.m., in Aix-les-Bains. Supported by the CGT, they first wanted to make demands related to their working conditions. The strikers denounced in particular a lack of consideration, which results for example in the fact of being refused “access to the premises of the principals in bad weather, the time of preparation of the orders”, or even the prohibition ” to use the sanitary facilities ”.
In a second step, these home delivery men pointed out “the successive drop in remuneration in recent months”, “bonuses which have disappeared (rain, snow, cold)”, “race prices which have decreased without explanation” … These 2 hours of disengagement were used to decide on the actions to be pursued in order to obtain better working conditions and new rights.
