Worker Arrested for Pointing Gun in Brooklyn Warehouse Altercation

A worker was taken into police custody after pointing a gun at several people at a warehouse in Brooklyn (NYC).

According to the police, for unknown reasons the employee he fought with four men inside the business located at 550 Remsen Ave. in East Flatbush around 10:30 pm on Tuesday. One of the men apparently tried to attack the worker when he pulled the gun on him, a police source told Pix11.

There were no injuries in the incidentauthorities said. The worker was arrested, but at the time his name was not released nor were charges announced against him, while the investigation was ongoing.

Violence in wineries, stores and restaurants is common in New York, between customers and/or workers during robberies and brawls.

Last week, a Hispanic man was arrested on suspicion of stabbing a co-worker in an early morning incident at a restaurant in New York’s Westchester County.

In a similar case, in mid-January a worker at a construction site in Manhattan stabbed a co-worker three times during a fight over loud music, the NYPD said. Days later an angry customer shot another over a spilled drink at a restaurant in Upper Manhattan.

Last week, a Mexican gang member was stabbed to death by a rival in a bar near his home in the Bronx. Then a 26-year-old man was killed in a morning shooting outside a Kennedy Fried Chicken franchise restaurant also in that county, the NYPD reported.

Hours later, a Brazilian tourist was shot in the leg when three young men opened fire during a robbery at a store in Times Square, New York’s theatrical mecca.
