This morning there was a fatal accident at work in Linz. A mechanic from Styria fell to his death from a passenger lift for unknown reasons.

On September 11, a 30-year-old mechanic from Styria was working with two colleagues to dismantle a passenger elevator in a multi-story building in Linz. The 30-year-old was on the roof of the elevator when, for unknown reasons, it crashed into the basement shortly after 8:30 a.m. and hit the ground without braking. The emergency doctor could only confirm the worker’s death.
