Three renovation projects of the roadway are planned for this summer by the Département des Deux-Sèvres on the Niort ring road. Work begins on Monday July 18.
First construction site, Europe Blvd. on a section between the Route de Parthenay interchange and Avenue de Paris (direction La Rochelle > Poitiers). The first works carried out near the avenue de Paris interchange are scheduled during the nights from July 18 to 22, 2022 between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.. Traffic in the La Rochelle > Poitiers direction will be diverted by the southern bypass. Traffic from Avenue de Paris will be redirected to Rue de Souché and the southern bypass.
Work is also scheduled during the day on the section between Route de Parthenay and Avenue de Paris between July 19 and 27, 2022. During this period, traffic in the La Rochelle > Poitiers direction will be switched to the expressway in the opposite direction. Users wishing to take the direction of Poitiers at the Route de Parthenay will be diverted by the Avenue de Nantes/Route de Coulonges interchange to take the boulevard in the other direction.
Also work on the roundabout of the combatants of Indochina and the boulevard de l’Atlantique
Second project, roundabout of the combatants of Indochina located on the avenue du Maréchal de Lattre de Tassigny (direction Nantes/Coulonges) and providing access to the boulevard de l’Europe in the direction of Poitiers. The works will be carried out in the night of July 18 to 19, 2022 between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.. The diversion is organized from the city center of Niort by rue de Ribray and boulevard de l’Atlantique for both directions of traffic.
Finally, third project Atlantic Boulevard. It concerns the access ramp to the boulevard from the avenue de Nantes/route de Coulonges roundabout in the direction of La Rochelle. The work will be carried out on Friday, July 22, 2022. Traffic heading towards La Rochelle will be diverted by the Route de Parthenay interchange via the Combatants d’Indochine roundabout.
