Updates:
On Facebook profile the creators decided to answer the most frequently asked questions of the fans:
- Dubbing for consoles is not certain, but the team does its best to make it happen.
- The date of the dubbing is not known, but it could take place in the autumn of this year.
- For rewards, you will receive, for example, the publication of your name in subtitles, the opportunity to cast a smaller character, a day in a dubbing studio, a screening of the entire film with dubbers (if the situation allows) and you may also receive a T-shirt “I supported dubbing for KCD”.
- It seems that all extensions will be dubbed.
Daniel Vávra, the creative director of the Warhorse studio, also contributed CZK 100,000 to the creation of the dubbing, who also promised to try, for example, to secure a good studio for filming. In addition, however, he also promised that if he managed to collect contributions in the total amount of CZK 250,000 within 14 days, he would increase his contribution by another CZK 100,000.
Original message:
It is not long ago that we take you informed on the preparation of unofficial semi-professional dubbing for the Czech medieval RPG Kingdom Come Deliverance from the Warhorse studio. However, the dubbing, which was created by a pair of semi-professional studios such as Pilger Film and Megarana Studios, was originally “only” a kind of film, which would dub all the cutscenes in the game, which would then be placed for viewing as a four-part series on YouTube.
This film from the cutscenes is now successfully being used with reinforcements (Eva Burešová, Jan Přeučil, Petr Gelnar and Pavel Vítek) and the first part will be available on the Megarana channel at the beginning of June this year. However, the creators have decided to go further and the plan is now to prepare a complete dubbing, including its implementation into the game – this is undoubtedly a really difficult process, and if you want to help with this task, you can contribute any amount to a transparent account 4441485013/0800.
For a new one dubbing demonstration you can see above.
