Amsterdam – The work on the Afsluitdijk threatens to derail more and more. Costs are again rising sharply and the project is taking years longer than expected. Rijkswaterstaat is also setting aside a consortium with builder BAM and dredging company Van Oord for the renovation of the discharge sluices at Den Oever and Kornwerderzand.
