“I say, this rue de la Buffa which looked like nothing, have you seen how it has changed and for the better?” This user’s opinion is radical but true enough.
Things are moving in this neighborhood. And we finally know what this street will look like under development as part of the work of the green belt.
Works synonymous with a diversion and renovation of the underground networks, a requalification of the sidewalks and the roadway, the creation of a secure bidirectional cycle path on its own site and, of course, revegetation with the planting of trees and massive.
Residents, pedestrians as well as motorized users have suffered for months because of the machines, diversions, traffic cuts, but it was worth it. Visually anyway.
Delivery end of March
In view of this work aimed at naturally refreshing the promenade thanks to the greenery and calming the traffic of vehicles which is now only done on one lane, several sections have undergone or are still undergoing a total facelift.
There has already been, following the same pattern, rue Dante, inaugurated in July, rue de la Liberté, delivered this fall. Place Grimaldi has also had a makeover.
And so, now, we are waiting for rue de la Buffa, the first part of which is completed between boulevard Gambetta and rue Meyerbeer.
The last part is still under construction but by the end of March the whole route should be finished.
