At the center of the discussion was the issue of the regeneration of the Eschatia stream, as well as the need for an immediate tender and implementation of the project.
The aim of the meeting was to improve the infrastructure and the quality of life of the two neighboring municipalities. The General Manager, Mr. Antonis Kotsonis, also participated in the meeting, underlining the seriousness and gravity of the issues that were raised for discussion.
The Mayor of Ilion, Mrs. Andriana Alevizou-Koukouvinou, stated: “The quality of life of the residents of our city is a priority and the regeneration of the stream of Eschatia is a key and vital project not only for Ilion but also for Agioi Anargyros and Kamatero . The study envisages infrastructure, greenery and pedestrian areas projects that will change the daily routine and the lives of our fellow citizens. Together with the Mayor, Mr. Stavros Tsirbas, we fight daily for local problems and work together to support Western Athens and our neighborhoods.”
The regeneration of the Eschatia stream is an important project that is expected to upgrade the area, offering new infrastructure and recreational areas for the residents. The two mayors reiterated their commitment to continuous cooperation and coordinated efforts for the benefit of Western Athens.
