Work continues on the banks of the Cher in Montluçon (Allier) … and traffic restrictions too: here are those from January 18 to 22

The development of the banks of the Cher continues along the water in Montluçon (Allier). And we continue to keep you posted. Thus, for this week from January 18 to 22, 2021, several new operations will be carried out on the site and traffic restrictions will continue. on both shores, inform those responsible for C’Montluçon project. Right bank

On the right bank, there will be on the one hand a prefabricated workshop, with realization (reinforcement, pouring and concreting) of the pre-slabs and beams of the future fixed pontoon on the left bank. And on the other hand the reception ofmicropiles workshop, with drilling and installation of said micropiles, for anchoring the future steps.

Traffic side:

  • One way and on two tracks quai Rouget-de-Lisle, rue Fargin-Fayolle, then avenue Jules-Ferry.
  • Access to rue du Châtelet one-way to rue Coppin. No return possible on rue Fargin-Fayolle and avenue Jules-Ferry.
  • L’avenue Jules-Ferry is open in both directions with “give way” towards the Saint-Pierre bridge.
  • The rue des Rémouleurs is open but no return possible towards Jules Ferry and only in a right turn towards the Saint-Pierre bridge.
  • The rue de la Treille takes on its original meaning, from Boulevard de Courtais to Rue des Rémouleurs.
  • Parking forbidden from avenue Jules-Ferry to quai Rouget-de-Lisle. Ditto for the bridge and rue des Rémouleurs on the sidewalks, outside the marked areas.

Left Bank

On the other side of the Cher, this week will be dedicated to the preparation for the micropile drilling on the riprap, necessary for anchoring the future steps. A work platform (extension) will also be carried out behind the wall, for the installation of the drilling machine and the micropiles.

Traffic side:

  • Always on one lane between the Saint-Pierre bridge and the elevated passage behind the play garden.
  • The companies in charge of this work will take the necessary measures to limit as much as possible inconvenience.
  • The weather conditions may result in a modification of this schedule.
