Do you know the Woodstock festival?

It was a long time ago in 1969. Whether it was from your grandparents, parents, whether it was your generation or not, you must have heard of Woodstock. Between the August 15 and 17, 1969, more than 50,000 people came to attend this legendary festival. A parox of hippie culture, it is still today one of the greatest moments in popular music. Rolling Stone magazine even ranks it among the 50 moments that changed the history of rock’n roll !! Big legendary stars like Santana, Joe Cocker and Jimmy Hendrix came to perform on stage.

The Woodstock festival wants to rise from its ashes

The place is now called the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts . It is managed by a non-profit association. In 2024, the programming looks tempting. During the summer, stars like Hootie & the Blowfish, Alanis Morissette, Jason Mraz, Limp Bizkit and Hozier will come and perform in the footsteps of their illustrious elders. To make the experience more user-friendly, the association has just inaugurated an ultra-modern campground where people can stay after the concerts. It will now be possible to camp where the festival took place in 1969.
