Haitian rapper Wood Terrib unveiled the tracklist for his new EP entitled “Mwen” on July 30, 2024. Scheduled for an official release on August 9, this project should expand the discography of the Simon-Pelé native.
Wood Terrib, real name Wood Baptiste, is a rapper who has been active since 2012. Wood Terrib, a follower of consciousness rap, has a career spanning more than ten years and stands out as a committed artist and community activist.
Wood Terrib’s repertoire includes notable titles such as “Sa m viv”, “Yo pa gen memwa”, “Nou konnen yo”, “Chanjman”, “Konsyans”, “Prensip”, “Viktim ak rèv” and “Angajman”. His EP titled “VAR (Viktim ak Rèv)” – released in 2023 – has been gaining traction with the public.
Among the 4 tracks that make up his new EP called “Mwen”, two collaborations are invited. A collaboration with the iconic rapper Freedom who brings his voice to “Mwen” on the project. “Mwen”, the eponymous track of the album, is the first track on the list. On the track “Flo-Resan”, Wood Terrib invites Scraggy.
In addition to these collaborations, “Traka” and “Dividal” are the tracks that will help to flesh out the opus. The project is announced as a self-portrait. The official release date of Wood Terrib’s new EP “Mwen” is scheduled for Friday, August 9, 2024 at 6 pm.
