Eight years. after the Resurrection, Matthew first wrote a gospel about the life of Jesus. He was burned in Ethiopia for his faith. But a miracle happened – the flame did not touch him. As he died, his tormentors became Christians.
Because the Holy Apostle Matthew was a tax collector, November 16 was designated as a professional holiday for all tax officials.
