On Monday, employees at a hospital in Australia were shocked when they discovered that an alleged fake doctor had been working with them for several months.
The 27-year-old was hired at Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital in January, despite not being qualified for the job.

– Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital discovered on Monday that an employee was not registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA), said a spokesman for Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital on Tuesday to 7news.
The spokesman will not confirm that the person worked as a doctor, but that an employee is under investigation.
The woman is said to have failed a final exam and forged documents to get the job at the hospital.

From January to August this year, she is said to have worked as a trainee doctor without colleagues or patients knowing that she had not completed her education.
“This person was immediately removed from his duties, and Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital referred the case to the police for investigation,” the spokesman said.
The hospital is now conducting an internal investigation, the spokesperson for 7news confirms.

Although she as a trainee was always under supervision, the revelation has left employees and locals in shock.
