The VNVB continues its excellent start to the season, its success this Saturday evening at the Parc des Sports, against Cannet, 3-0, proves it. The Vandoperiennes keep their place in the top 3 of the classification, just behind the big names: Nantes, Mulhouse and Paris. This victory against the southern team puts the VNVB in the best conditions for the return match of the European Cup, this Wednesday in Dresden.
A controlled match
Le Cannet was therefore no match for the VNVB. From start to finish, André Sa’s daughters led the way. Despite a sluggish start to the match, the VNVB found the rhythm to dominate their opponent. This clear victory confirms the progress of a team which was not necessarily expected at this level so quickly, according to the president, Patrick Venturini: ” I am surprised by the rapid progress of the team, because we renewed the squad to 80% at the start of the season. The coach, André Sa, proves once again that he is a real machine for helping the girls progress.” An obvious observation, as the Portuguese technician manages to enhance the qualities of his players.
