The England women’s team, champion of the Euro Cup in 2019, visits the country for the first time and its coach, Steven Black, has been surprised by the Salvadoran scenarios and also by the color of the sand.

“This stadium is excellent, very nice to play beach soccer. Something I have to highlight is that for us it is impressive to see the black sand, it is the first time that we have contact with this sand, in our country it is white,” said Black.

Regarding the competition, the European coach stated that he is aware of the level of demand that this event represents and assured that they have worked to make a good presentation.

“The level of this tournament, from what we know, is very high and we know that each team has its job and will seek to win each match. The United States team is the rival that we know will be a strong duel,” said the English team’s strategist.

For her part, Daria Adderle, coach of the Bahamas national team, spoke about the first match she has on the agenda against the local team, whom they already know.

“We have to be confident because we know that the El Salvador women’s team is very aggressive, very fit, very fast and that is what we have to take care of. For this competition we have been training for 11 months, so we expect to be a difficult opponent to watch,” said Daria.
