Delhi Capitals beat UP Warriors in Women’s Premier League. Capitals won by 42 runs. After losing the toss, Capitals scored 211 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, UP was able to score only 169 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs.

Captain Meg Lanning was the top scorer for Capitals who scored 70 runs off 42 balls. Jonassen fired in the final overs with 42 runs off 20 balls and Jamima Rodriguez remained unbeaten on 34 runs off 22 balls.

In reply, Tahlia McGrath remained unbeaten on 90 off 50 balls for UP. Captain Alyssa Healy scored 24 runs and Devika Vaidya scored 23 runs for UP
