There were notable wins for Australia over Germany, Switzerland against France and a draw for Italy with Spain in this week’s international friendlies.

Selina Cerci scored five minutes in for Germany but Kyra Cooney-Cross had Australia back on level terms before half time, with Clare hunt netting a 77th-minute decider.
Italy and Spain exchanged late goals to draw 1-1, Alba Redondo breaking the deadlock for the latter on 86 minutes, only for Chiara Beccari to head home the equaliser.
A Ramona Bachmann penalty had Switzerland in front against France, Kelly Gago soon levelled but Naomi Luyet’s 54th-minute finish brought victory for the Swiss.
Leah Williamson and Grace Clinton got first-half goals as England defeated South Africa.
The Dutch defeated the Danes after two goals in as many first-half minutes by Esmee Brugts and Danielle van de Donk, Cornelia Kramer getting a late goal back.
There was late drama in Brazil’s win over Colombia, two up through Isa Haas and Gio Garbelini, Linda Caicedo halved the deficit after 69 minutes but Jorelyn Carabalí then received a second yellow card and Adriana converted a penalty with seven minutes to go.
China led Vietnam with Zhang Xin’s goal close to half time but had to wait until stoppage time for an own-goal to secure the victory.
