The Slovak national hockey team will not play in the final of the World Cup in Canada. In the semifinals, they lost to the home players 2: 3.

The Slovaks took the lead 1: 0 and also won the first third, but then took the initiative of the Canadian. They won twice in the second and once in the third act, they won 3: 1, the Slovaks managed to reduce to 2: 3 minutes before the end, but they could not equalize. Both teams also met in the basic group, then Canada won high 8: 2.
