Born in New York after her father, Mirko Beljanski, PhD, came to New York to pursue a two-year fellowship with Nobel Laureate Severo Ochoa. Raised and trained in Paris, she attended the Sorbonne, where she earned her law degree, and was admitted to the Paris Bar.
