Ferencváros lost a point in Mosonmagyaróvár during the 14th round of women’s handball NB I, the home team was able to fight for the tie by scoring three goals in the last 23 minutes.

Losing one point in the first half of the championship, FTC entered the home of Mosonmagyaróvár, who are interested in the Europa League, in a promising away match. Dragana Cvijics was still unable to be used for the capital city, and the regular substitute, Alicia Stolle, fell ill, so Gábor Elek had to come up with another forced solution at linebacker. Nikolett Tóth was missing for the home team for a similar reason.
At the beginning of the match, Fradi was able to get the ball several times, but did not take advantage of the opportunities that were offered, so MKC, which was one or two goals behind at the beginning, came back and even took the lead through Barbora Lancz. The introduction of Gabriella Tóth gave a new impetus to Óvár, which was already getting more and more on fire, the home team played with the man advantage several times in the last period of the half and went away with three and went to 15-13 at the break.
Fradi quickly equalized in the second half, but MKC came back to score 19-16. The 19-17 score was “stuck” for more than seven minutes, after which the guests were able to move away from there. FTC made it 22-21 in the 58th minute, but Patrícia Kovács had the last word, as neither side could score in the 60th minute.
Of course, the home team could be happy about the IKS, while Fradi’s situation did not change to the extent that they have to score at least a point against ETO in their match in Győr.
