The women’s section of Olympique Lyonnais played its very last friendly match this Saturday, September 7 before starting the new French D1 Arkema season 2024-2025. The Lyonnaises controlled Juventus Turin (4-2) with a goal from Melchie Daëlle Dumornay in this match.
After scoring a goal against Real Madrid CF in the 2-0 victory last weekend, the Haitian star was once again in the starting line-up against Juventus Turin, still in a warm-up match for the new French D1 Arkema women’s season. The 21-year-old native of Mirebalais scored the third goal for the Lyonnaises in the 31st minute of play after seeing goals from Eugénie Le Sommer and Tabita Chawinga (11th and 21st) to take the lead on the scoreboard indicated.
At the very end of the first period, Danielle Van de Donk widened the gap in the 35th minute of play. The Italians raised their level to score two goals through Paulina Krumbiegel and Cristiana Girelli made it four in two (4-2), but the score remained unchanged on the scoreboard until the Apocalypse of the match.
