Khadija Shaw scored a hat-trick as the Manchester City holders beat Leicester 6-0 at the Academy Stadium to stage an FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea.

Gareth Taylor’s City, who had lost each of their last three games in all competitions, netted their six goals in the second half, Jamaican forward Shaw giving them the lead moments after the break.

Vicky Losada doubled the advantage, Shaw made it 3-0 and Alex Greenwood added a penalty after Lauren Hemp was knocked down in the box by Esmee De Graaf.

Shaw then completed his hat-trick with a header in the 85th minute before Filippa Angeldahl closed the scoring.

Chelsea won 4-0 at Birmingham in another game which saw all goals scored after the break.

Sam Kerr scored the first on time, Fran Kirby scored two goals in quick succession with around 20 minutes left and their replacement colleague Pernille Harder wrapped things up in stoppage time.

There was also a landslide victory for Arsenal as they came from behind to beat derby rivals Tottenham 5-1 at Meadow Park.

After Spurs took an early lead thanks to training from Rachel Williams, Mana Iwabuchi equalized just before the quarter-hour and an own goal from Asmita Ale then put Arsenal in the lead in the 31st minute.

Caitlin Foord and Nikita Parris then added efforts to see the hosts 4-1 before the break and Foord went on to score their second with a 73rd-minute finish.

The Gunners’ opponents in the last four will be Brighton, who won 1-0 at home against championship team Charlton thanks to Felicity Gibbons’ strike in the 68th minute.
