MADRID, 1 Mar. (EDITIONS) –
This March 8, the calls for events and marches for Women’s Day will take place for another year. Consult the most outstanding in this text, which will be updated in the coming days:
MADRID
The division of the feminist movement will once again be visible on this day, in which two marches have been called in the capital. The demonstration organized by the 8M Commission, close to Podemos, will cover the route between Atocha and Plaza de España starting at 7:00 p.m., thus recovering the itinerary it followed before the pandemic.
For its part, the march of the Madrid Feminist Movement will also take place along Calle Atocha to Plaza de las Provincias, starting at 6:30 p.m. They will request the resignation of the Minister for Equality, Irene Montero, and the “disapproval” of the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, for “botch jobs” such as the law that only yes is yes and for laws that “erase” women such as the Law Trans.
The Student Union has called a “feminist student strike” throughout Spain and a large number of demonstrations. The one in Madrid is at 12:00 at Puerta del Sol.

CATALOUNIA
On March 8 it will begin with a mobilization of the Student Union called at 12:00 in the Plaza de la Universidad de Barcelona. The Assemblea 8M has convened another one in the afternoon, at 18:30, which will depart from the Plaza de la Universidad.

ANDALUSIA

Although there will be mobilizations in multiple points in Galicia, this year there will not be a large unitary call that brings together protesters from the entire autonomous community, as was the custom before the pandemic.
Despite the fact that feminism will take to the streets together, in various locations –Vigo, Santiago, Redondela, Ourense, Lugo and A Coruña– the Platform for Radical Feminism of Galicia urges to look for the green flags — symbol of the bloc abolitionist — and has announced that he will read his own manifesto at the end of the tour.

The 8M Ceuta Commission / Feminist Platform of Ceuta has convened at 7:30 p.m. in the Plaza de la Constitución.
MELILLA
Melilla Feminista has convened at 5:30 p.m. in the Plaza Comandante Benitez.
ASTURIAS
The Student Union has called a mobilization at 12:00 in the Plaza del Pachís.

Asturies Feminista 8M has called an act in Mieres at 7:00 p.m.
MURCIA
The Feminist Movement of Murcia has called a march from the Plaza de Fuensanta at 7:00 p.m.
CANTABRIA
The demonstration of the Cantabria feminist open Assemblies begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Puertochico de Santander roundabout.
ESTREMADURA
The Plasencia Feminist Platform convenes at 8:00 p.m. in the Plaza Mayor.
CASTILLA LA MANCHA

The Feminist Platform March 8 Lanzarote has convened at 7:00 p.m. in Plazuela, Arrecife.
The Feminist Network of Gran Canaria has convened at 7:00 p.m. in the San Telmo Park.
The 8M Tenerife Feminist Platform convenes at 7:00 p.m. in Plaza Weyler in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
BALEARES
The Feminist Movement of Mallorca has convened at 7:00 p.m. in the Parque de las Estaciones. The 8M Transfeminist Coordinator has convened another alternative at 6:00 p.m. in Plaza de España.
