Thiruvananthapuram: To understand the problems of women in the Scheduled Tribes region, the Women’s Commission will organize a Scheduled Tribes Region Camp at Aralat in Kannur district on 28th and 29th. On December 28 at 8.30 am, the Women’s Commission will visit the houses of Scheduled Tribe Sanctuary in Aralam region. At 2.30 pm, a coordination meeting of various departments will be held at Aralam Govt Higher Secondary School. Women’s Commission Chairperson Adv. P. Sate Devi will inaugurate.
Member of Women’s Commission Adv. Indira Ravindran will preside. Women Commission members Adv. P. Kunjaisha, V.R. Mahilamani, Adv. Elizabeth Mamman Mathai, Director Shaji Sugunan, Project Officer N. Divya will also speak. Research Officer A.R. Archana will lead the discussion.
Adv. P. Sate Devi will inaugurate. Aralam Gram Panchayat President K.P. Rajesh will preside. In the seminar, the topics of government-run projects in Scheduled Tribes and the menace of drug addiction will be presented.
