It’s hit her again!
After 44 games, FC Bayern’s women have once again lost a Bundesliga game. In “La Clasica” they lost 2-0 at VfL Wolfsburg.

After an entertaining first half, Wolfsburg went into the break with a somewhat fortunate 1-0 lead. Because for Bayern, Harder (34th) missed a great chance to equalize after a great combination with Stanways and Schüller.

High tension at the top of the table
Despite the defeat, Bayern remain at the top of the table, ahead of surprise team Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt. The Hessians won’t play against Freiburg until Monday.
Wolfsburg remains in 4th place, but is only two points behind Bayern. For the “She-Wolves” the championship is only just beginning.
Positive news for the Bayern women comes from national player Lena Oberdorf, who injured her cruciate ligament. Oberdorf on “ARD”: “The rehabilitation process is getting off to a good start. I don’t want to put pressure on myself. But I want to train with the team again in March and April.”
▶︎ The Bayern stars will be wearing the special “Pink October” jersey in Wolfsburg. This is intended to draw attention to the importance of breast cancer prevention. The jerseys were co-designed by supermodel Lena Gercke (36).
