Women’s A League. Aminata Dia, new powerhouse at Tfoc Volley

It’s a homecoming for Aminata Dia. The central had already cut its teeth at Tfoc, from 6 to 13 years old, before joining ASVB Yutz-Thionville, for three years. She had been called up to the France team when she was playing in M17. In 2018, if she joined Tfoc, it was as a licensee because, for four seasons, Aminata Dia had been playing at France Avenir 2024, the French volleyball training institute. The 20-year-old player “showed great things when she played with France Avenir,” said coach Romain Pitou, who had known her “during school interventions ten years ago”. The volleyball player who rises to 1.82 m would be attached to the club’s training center but will evolve well with the professional team of Tfoc, as could be the case for Léna Chameaux, for example.
