With the sale of organic foods, clothing, jewels, laser-cut items, bags, shoes, jewels, hygiene and personal care items, 14 women who face different types of cancer they did a christmas bazaar with just cause, whose goal was to raise funds to contribute to the costs of his treatment.
Although this Saturday the bazaar with a cause was only held until 14:00, this Sunday it will be available from 10:00 to 18:00.
According to Nadia Vargas, the main promoter of the bazaar, the idea came from the possibility of organizing a posada to raise funds that could help in the care of the 14 women facing this disease, however, in the end the proposal was to organize a bazaar, in which each of the participants could sell their objects or products.
“Each of us is paying for the space for the use of the premises, and the resources that are collected are personal, i.e. the money obtained by each seller does not add up, but remains for that seller, for this reason we need a lot of support from people to come to the bazaar and buy our items“Nadia said.
Of the 14 women entrepreneurs, two have already been discharged, while the others are in various stages of cancer treatment.
“The first message we want to send to the public is that they live each day as if it were their last, because you never know when you’re going to get sick, and the second is that you don’t have to wait until you get sick to go to the doctor, you have to get routine checkups, because these make the difference between early diagnosis or advanced stage“said Nadia Vargas.
The bazaar with a cause will be held this Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00 at Árbol de la Vida number 40, Llano Grande neighborhood, municipality of Metepec.
