In celebration of World Museum Day, six artists who are members of the Milenio Arte Collection and participants in the Sororidad exhibition together with the art critic and director of the Collection, Avelina Lesper, they carried out a conversational in the Museum of Fine Arts in which they highlighted the empowerment of mexican women through artistic and creative expression.

Gabriela Cortés, Paola Celada, Paulina Jaimes, Basia Batorska, Victoria Goren and Patricia Sánchez Saiffee are the artists who accompanied Lesper in the conversation, who agreed that the language that an artist preserves is obtained through visual arts and is an emotional actwhich develops a precise technique that leads to the creation of a work.

The artist, Paola Celada, addressed the students of the Faculty of Arts of the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEMex) and pointed out that despite having a sketch or a certain idea, the artist must contemplate limits that are consistent with his style so that it has the ability to convey the details that the artist wants.

In the same way, he related his participation with the work of his authorship that is exhibited in the Museum, since through it the chaos and survival of the human being are visualized, a dualism that is decisive for the construction of an identity at the same time. time to make a painting, a drawing or an image.

“In the work I drew the Moon that keeps all the properties so that humans remain alive and behind it I placed a series of drawings in a bad shape, because it represents the chaos that it also experiences and that despite this, continues to shine”, he explained.

Lesper pointed out that for a new artist to be able to find identity in his work, he must be free and work on a series of repetitions that help him understand his ideas and the type of technique that will best reflect your creation.

Sorority, space for the dissemination of female art
