Alexandra Lamy, Mélanie Doutey and Mickael Llodra will sponsor a gala dinner at the Château du Clos de Vougeot to accompany the sale for the benefit of the Fondation Cœur & Recherche as well as the Maison des Femmes-21.
At the initiative of the Femmes et Vins de Bourgogne association, under the sponsorship of Alexandra Lamy, Mélanie Doutey and Mickael Llodra, on Thursday December 14, 2023, a gala dinner will take place at the Château du Clos de Vougeot accompanied by a charity auction for the benefit of the Heart & Research Foundation and the Maison des Femmes-21, currently being created, in Dijon.
WOMEN AND BURGUNDY WINES
In 2000, at the initiative of Anne Parent de Pommard, 6 Burgundian women gathered around a table, with the project of bringing together women who had taken over, created or managed an estate in Burgundy.
Passionate about their land, attentive to good practices, to the transmission of their knowledge, they are, it is certain, the future of man in general, and of wine in particular.
The association today has around forty members from Chablis, Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune, Chalonnaise and Mâconnaise.
A COLLECTIVE OF WOMEN IN FAVOR OF WOMEN’S HEALTH
Members of the Femmes et Vins de Bourgogne collective came together to finance actions in favor of women’s health through the sale of bottles from their estates as well as a charity piece purchased from the Hospices des Beaune “Auxey Duresses 1er Cru les Hardships 2018”.
The evening of December 14 will be an opportunity to highlight their best bottles, while allowing profits to be donated to associations which both improve the quality of life of women throughout France, including Burgundy. : The Maison des Femmes-21 and the Heart & Research Foundation.
The Women’s House
The Maison des Femmes created in 2016 by Dr Ghada Hatem is a collective made up of hospital practitioners in forensic medicine, gynecology-obstetrics and hepato-gastroenterology, elected officials from the Departmental Council and Town Hall, directors of different establishments, leaders of victims’ associations and in favor of gender equality and people from civil society.
All sensitive to the problem of violence against women, they aim to create a space dedicated to welcoming and supporting women victims of physical, psychological and sexual violence. The Maisons des Femmes are present in Saint-Denis, Bordeaux, Reims, Marseille, Tours, Orléans, Versailles, Rennes… and soon in Côte-d’Or.
The Heart and Research Foundation
The Foundation chaired by Professor Komajda is a recognized public utility foundation created in 2010 by the French Society of Cardiology. Its mission is to promote and finance research in the cardiovascular field, which today remains the leading cause of mortality in the world. To do this, it relies on an internationally recognized scientific council to select the winners of calls for projects.
The Heart & Research Foundation has supported and accompanied more than 200 researchers in carrying out 40 cardiovascular research projects of excellence. These are directed according to the challenges of our society, such as research on women’s hearts, which responds to an imminent public health challenge.
A COMMON GOAL: WOMEN’S HEALTH
This meeting was born from a desire to make women’s lives easier. Whether in their work, their intimacy or their personal life, women’s health is put to the test. The figures speak for themselves, it is to fight against these figures (94,000 women victims of rape or attempted rape, 200 women die per year from cardiovascular disease) that these two associations exist.
The Women and Wines of Burgundy collective is also sensitive to these alarming figures.
FINANCING CONCRETE PROJECTS
Things can still evolve, thanks to the financing of research projects to understand the causes of cardiovascular diseases in women and limit them, or to create places of safety for women thanks to the deployment of Women’s Houses throughout the country. territory.
These projects are expensive but deserve to be funded to improve the lives of thousands of women. This is why the profits from this charity evening at Clos de Vougeot will help finance part of these actions.
AN EXCEPTIONAL SPONSORSHIP
This auction will have the honor of being hosted by Alexandra Lamy and Mélanie Doutey, two women committed to the well-being and health of women. Notably through the TV film “Touchees” directed in 2022 by Alexandra Lamy and in which Mélanie Doutey plays the role of Lucie.
Michael Llodra, tennis player, wine lover and involved in charitable actions will also join this exceptional evening.
