The body of a woman (21) was found half naked in a brick factory in Pliken Village, Kembaran, Regency Banyumas. The victim is suspected to be a victim of rape.
Reported by detikJateng, Kuwatno (45), an eyewitness who worked at the location, found the body on Tuesday (26/12) at 07.00 WIB. The condition of the corpse was lying on its back and only wearing upper clothes, and the body parts were covered with banana leaves.
“The body was lying on its back. Not wearing half clothes. Not wearing trousers. Then there was a watch next to it. Approximately 25 years old,” he explained to reporters, Tuesday (26/12/2023).
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for the Banyumas Police, Commissioner Andryansyah Rithas Hasibuan, explained that after receiving the report, his party immediately went to the crime scene to carry out an examination.
“From the results of the report, we went to the crime scene. It is reasonable to suspect that his death had signs of violence,” said Andryansyah to journalists at Margono Soekarjo Regional Hospital, Purwokerto, Tuesday (26/12/2023).
From the results of the physical examination, a number of bruises were found in several parts. The victim was also suspected of experiencing sexual violence.
“For the time being, the findings show that some of the victim’s underwear had been removed. It is reasonable to suspect that there was some form of physical violence and sexual violence. There were bruises on the neck and the same on the vital organs. But everything is confirmed from the autopsy results,” he explained.
In the meantime, the victim’s body was taken to Margono Soekarjo Regional Hospital. The victim will be autopsied to determine the cause of death.
