Although no criminality has been determined in the incident, the New York Police are investigating the death of a woman, whose body was found at the bottom of a building’s compactor landfilllocated on West 28th Street, Manhattan.
According to the authorities’ report, a building employee found the 24-year-old victim, identified as Jaclyn Elmquist. The gruesome discovery occurred on Friday, when he was taking out the trash.
Officers responded to the residential complex and pronounced her dead at the scene. It was learned that she did not live in the building.
Surveillance camera caught the woman with strange behavior
On Thursday night, Jaclyn Elmquist was caught on public surveillance camera. The woman staggered as she walked, stumbling as she made room for herself.. The authorities did not clarify whether she could be drunk or drugged.
It is also unclear how he managed to enter the building.
The circumstances that led to the victim’s death remain under investigation and The Police have not been able to determine if there is criminality.
