Woman with cancer casts lots for wedding dress, her partner has abandoned her

A 24-year-old girl from Querétaro admits she hasn’t dealt with the disease of breast cancer, but assures she really wants to live

For Lucero Vega, a 24-year-old girl, receiving the news that she has breast cancer hasn’t been easy, however, she clarifies that she “very much wants to move on.”

The fight waged by this young woman from Querétaro went viral on social networks due to the various situations that occurred in her environment as she carried out her process to fight this painful disease.

In a video shared on YouTube so they can learn more about her, Lucero shared that chemotherapy is the second most painful thing that has happened in her life, the first being her brother’s passing six years ago, also if it does not clarify as circumstances.

Lucero had a partner, but he revealed that they separated because his illness situation was very difficult for both of them. He made it clear that he’s not a bad person, and while it was painful to take things in, he understood that “people don’t have to put up with me, it sounds ugly, but that’s how I saw it.”

And as if that weren’t enough, his father also has cancer, but of the skin and likewise the family is raising money for medical expenses.

That’s why the young woman reported in August last year that she would organize a raffle for a 2001 golf vehicle, in addition to her wedding dress, after the end of the relationship with her partner.

In an update on his case, Lucero shared on Dec. 23, 2022 that he had received his eighth and final chemotherapy.

‘No one can come and judge me because they don’t really know how difficult it is to carry out a process like this. This blessed disease has also taught me which people to really count on and who never again,” wrote the young her in the publication she said she was proud of.

As she mentioned in one of her videos, after chemotherapy the young woman will be operated on and, according to what the doctors have told her, it will be a mastectomy (an operation that removes the entire breast).

Now that the first phase of her journey is over, Lucero has decided to support other people, just as she has been helped by the ‘angels’ who have entered her life.
