Woman wants a relationship with man and pricks holes in condom: six months in prison | Abroad

The 39-year-old German Melanie L. from Bad Salzuflen had met 42-year-old Florian S. from Bielefeld online at the beginning of 2021, German media write. The two met several times and had sex with each other, but agreed that they were not interested in a permanent relationship. Melanie L. fell in love anyway and hatched a nefarious plan to tie S. to her.

The German secretly poked holes in the condoms that were on S.’s bedside table. In this way she hoped to get pregnant – which, by the way, did not work – and thus convince him to stay with her. He realized what was going on when she texted him via WhatsApp during an argument: “Oh, I poked holes in your condoms, I’m probably pregnant after all.” The man filed a complaint against her.

Historical statement

In court, the woman admitted everything. The judge ruled that this was a case of ‘stealthing’, an English term that also applies when a man suddenly removes the condom during sex without the woman’s knowledge. She was therefore charged with sexual abuse and was found guilty: she was given a six-month suspended prison sentence.

The judge referred to a “historical ruling” and emphasized that ‘stealthing’ can therefore also be done by a woman. “The condoms weren’t usable without his knowledge. Here ‘no’ also means ‘no’.”

Remarkable detail: according to the German newspaper Bild the two have reconciled and meanwhile they meet again. It is not known whether they also commit to the act and whether this is with or without a condom.
