Bekasi City Metro Police arrested a woman with the initials SNF (26), who was suspected of killing her own child in North Bekasi, Kota Bekasi. The police revealed the chronology of the murder until the discovery of the victim’s body, who was 5 years old, with 20 stab wounds on his body.
The police explained that the series of events occurred since Wednesday (6/3/2024). According to the police, SNF was at Soekarno-Hatta Airport with her two children on that date.
SNF’s husband, MAS, then called the airport and provided information that his wife was at the airport with their two children. SNF is said to have admitted that he came to the airport because he felt called by a supernatural whisper.
“This Wednesday the victim went to the airport, so the perpetrator went to the airport with his son, he said he wanted to go somewhere because there was a call, it was a magical whisper, a hallucination of the perpetrator,” said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for the Bekasi Metro Police, AKBP Muhammad Firdaus in a press conference. at Bekasi City Metro Police, Friday (8/3/2024).
He said that SNF’s husband, MAS, was out of town at that time. MAS then asked the airport to help take his wife to a hotel in Bekasi City.
“After arriving in Bekasi, sleep at the Harris Hotel, arrived check in at the Harris Hotel at 23.00 WIB. Well, we have also checked with the Harris Hotel and confirmed the hotel check in 23.00 WIB, check out at 03.00 WIB in the morning,” he said.
He said the SNF went on foot with his two children at 03.00 WIB. In fact, according to him, the hotel had called a taxi requested by the SNF.
Police believe they walked towards their house which is located in the Burgundy housing complex, North Bekasi, Bekasi City.
On Thursday (7/3), MAS was said to be unable to contact SNF until 10.00 WIB. He said the SNF finally answered the call from MAS and said their child had gone far away.
“At 10.00 WIB they were contacted and then picked up. So they asked where the child was, so he was hallucinating again, he said he had gone far,” he said.
Hearing this answer, MAS immediately asked his friend, witness NA, for help to check their house. NA was the first person to see the body of victim AAS (5) covered in blood
“The witness who was the first to come to the crime scene, the witness with the initials NA, stated that when he went to the crime scene, he knocked on the door, the door was opened by the alleged perpetrator and then asked the child, where the child was, ‘it’s gone’, he said something like that, said the perpetrator, ” he said.
NA also continued to persuade the SNF to be allowed into the house. When he entered, NA was shocked to see AAS lying covered in blood. He then reported the incident to complex security officers.
“Well, after being persuaded, this witness, witness NA, went inside, looked up and saw that the child was indeed lying on the bed, covered in blood,” he said.
SNF has now been named as a suspect. He faces up to 15 years in prison.
“As intended in Article 76 C in conjunction with Article 80 paragraph 3 and paragraph 4 of the Violence Against Children Law and/or Article 338 of the Criminal Code with a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison,” said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for the Bekasi Metro Police, AKBP Muhammad Firdaus when met at the Metro Police.
