Blood pudding or tête can is a traditional Vietnamese dish made with duck and pig blood and boiled meat. After consuming the blood pudding, the young woman suffered severe headaches and would occasionally fall down indoors with dizziness. After being admitted to the hospital, it was discovered that the woman was crawling with worms under her skin. The worms had reached the brain.
The 58-year-old woman used to eat blood pudding once a month. This is what led to the disaster. Hyderabad Yashoda Hospital Senior Consultant Physician Dr. Dr. Dilip Gude informed. Worms that enter the body and multiply there can seriously affect human health.
At present, the 58-year-old woman has recovered and has been discharged from the hospital and shifted to her home. It is advised to continue monitoring by giving medicines.
