This is a photo that Madonna posted on Instagram in 2015 to promote her album Rebel heart in which the pop star wears a short black and white skirt topped with a Joy Division T-shirt. Madonna herself wrote the caption “I look kewl(I look cool).
According to Amelia Goldie, however, it is not a picture of Madonna, but a picture of her, on which Madonna – unsolicited – photoshopped her own head. “When I noticed the photo, I just started to laugh. After all these years, the image was still on her official Instagram page, ”said Goldie. “It’s really hilarious.”
Her Tiktok post has now been viewed more than two million times and has elicited a lot of reactions. Most of those are from people asking Madonna to admit she “stole” the photo and to give Goldie the “credit” after all these years. Goldie herself also contacted the pop star’s management team twice, but never received an answer.
