Woman speeds car into Atlanta emergency room

Atlanta. The recently published pictures from the surveillance camera of Atlanta’s Piedmont Hospital are shocking: A 75-year-old obviously loses control of her car in front of the emergency room and drives into the building at high speed. A 55-year-old is killed and four other people are injured, some seriously. The tragic incident took place on June 30th, but it was only now that the surveillance cameras were released.

The person who caused the accident had an appointment at the hospital and wanted to go there by car. But prior to the emergency room, according to previous knowledge, she lost control of her SUV, first rammed a vehicle that was waiting in front of her, and then raced through the glass door into the emergency room. The video footage shows that she continued to accelerate even after the collision with the other car.

Injured driver wants to sue

Two employees of the hospital were hit by the car, a 55-year-old died.
