NEW YORK — A woman was seriously injured after being struck by a bicyclist on a corner in Manhattan, New York City Police said.
The 69-year-old victim was near Grand Street y Chrystie Street in Chinatown around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, when she was struck by a person riding a bicycle, according to preliminary details of the investigation.
The woman was rushed to Bellevue Hospital with critical injuries, police said. The cyclist fled the scene.
No arrests have yet been made and police have not released any information about a possible suspect.
An investigation is ongoing.
