Woman seriously injured in explosion at home

The woman was taken to the hospital in Tilburg. The massive explosion broke windows on both the upper and lower floors. Several roof tiles have also come loose. The bottom of the front door of the house was blown away.

There are many emergency services available. The police’s Explosives Safety Team, among others, were present to see if there was still a risk of an explosion. Forensics is investigating. The street is closed off.

According to a neighbor across the street, the injured woman turned 50 years old recently. “Nice people live there, it’s a nice family,” said the neighbor. “Nothing crazy ever happens here. I suspect it was just a few crazy people,” she concludes.
