Previously, woman A lived with her boyfriend in Gangnam-gu, Seoul for about half a year. Then, the quarrels became frequent, and her boyfriend notified Mr. A to move out of her house, saying that he should end the relationship in April 2021.
However, Mr. A cut his neck with a weapon while his boyfriend was asleep after drinking alcohol, then went into the bathroom and called 112, saying, “My boyfriend pointed a knife at his neck and threatened to kill me, so I was hurt.” Reported.
Mr. A said to the police who responded, “My boyfriend secretly brought a weapon from the kitchen and hid it in his waistband and asked if we would die together.”
In the ensuing investigation of the victim by the police and prosecutors, he submitted a medical certificate and demanded strict punishment along with the statement that “he stabbed the neck several times with a weapon.”
The boyfriend was arrested as a current criminal and charged with special injury and special threats.
Even at the trial, Mr. A’s attitude did not change. The unfair boyfriend applied for a public participation trial, but Mr. A even submitted a ‘severe punishment petition’ to the court.
The boyfriend was acquitted in the first trial at the end of the public participation trial, but he lived in detention and detention centers for 172 days until September 2021.
The prosecution appealed, and the boyfriend was cleared of the charges after about 440 days after the appeal was dismissed in the second trial.
Afterwards, Mr. A was charged with false accusation.
