“Woman Seeks Divorce After 15 Days of Marriage Due to Husband’s Refusal to Sleep With Her and Mental Illness – Family Court Lawsuit”

Hasnaa K., 33, filed a lawsuit before the Family Court in the Fifth Settlement, requesting that her husband be divorced after only 15 days of marriage, justifying her request by “he cooks and eats alone and does not want me to sleep with him…and he expelled me from the house after 15 days of marriage.”

In her lawsuit, the wife said that she had lived an unhappy, anxious married life for 15 days, after her husband deluded her that he loved her after he met her at her uncle’s shop near his house.

The wife added that after marriage, she lived in the house alone, “My husband deals with me as if I am not there.” And whenever I try to change him, he runs away and does not listen to my conversations at all, as if he is punishing me.

The wife stated that she had discovered that her husband was “mentally ill” and always wanted to sit alone, “eating, cooking, washing and sleeping alone,” saying, “I wish I had stayed in my father’s house.”

The wife concludes: I had no choice but to resort to the Family Court, and indeed I filed a lawsuit No. 2390 of 2022, and it is still pending before the court and has not yet been adjudicated.
