Woman rescued from canal in Nederweert-Eind

A woman fell into the canal near the Leveroyse Bridge in Nederweert-Eind on Monday evening.

Emergency services quickly rushed to the scene for assistance. Police pulled the woman out of the water along with bystanders. She was then handed over to paramedics with hypothermia symptoms.

It is unknown how the woman ended up in the water. She was taken to hospital for examination and further care.
