A marriage of Florida fond of collecting seashells on the beach and his tech-savvy neighbor made it possible for a woman who dropped her cell phone al mar had it back with him 77 days later in almost perfect condition.
Channel 12 of television Palm Beach (southeastern Florida) echoed this story involving the shell finders Laura Leigh and Lawton Martin, neighbor Devron Richardson and ‘mermaid’ Amie Vreeken.
The four met in Delray Beach (Florida) this week for the delivery of the phone and spoke before the cameras of the channel.

Vreeken, a mother of four, said that every two weeks she travels to visit a friend in Delray Beach and in February they came out in kayak and a wave hit them and made the phone overboard. They even searched for him with a metal detector and couldn’t find him.
“77 days passed, 77 days, from the second it fell to mar until they called to tell me they found my phone, ”Vreeken said in amazement.
