Woman pushed to the side of a subway in Times Square during rush hour – NBC New York (47)

NEW YORK – A woman was pushed onto a northbound subway at the Times Square-42nd Street during rush hour Monday morning, police said.

The authorities emphasize that their investigation is preliminary, but at this point, it appears that another woman would have pushed her in front of the train on line 1/2/3 just after 8:15 a.m., they pushed her to the side of the train, but it did not fall on the tracks.

The victim suffered facial injuries and is expected to recover, police said.

The uniformed officer said the woman believed to have pushed her was last seen wearing black sneakers and pants. beige with a multi-colored scarf.

There was no indication that metro service in the area was affected by the investigation.
